Before my return to school, I worked in the tourism sector. More than ever, Covid-19 has exposed the fragility and vulnerabilities of the tourism and hospitality industry. The crisis-induced slump in global tourism led me to reflect the future of industry and how public policy and management should respond to help us build back better. At the MPM program, I have begun to look for answers in sustainable and smart tourism.
