Call for Papers - Public Policy in a Turbulent World
This year, the Division of Public Policy at HKUST is honored to host its Annual Conference for the third time in its eighth iteration at the University’s Clearwater Bay, HK campus. Mindful of current restrictions and constantly evolving travel regulations, the conference will take place in hybrid mode, allowing participants to attend sessions in person as well as remotely.

Book Launch "How COVID-19 Took Over the World"
In this book talk, a newly released book about the COVID-19 pandemic in Mainland China and Hong Kong will be presented. Two legal experts and authors of the chapters "Pandemic Control in China’s Gated Communities" and "Hong Kong and Greater China Response to COVID-19" are invited to review a range of issues on March 23, 2023 (Thursday).

Research
Case Development Program
The Case Development Program is a pioneering initiative established in Fall 2017 to promote the case pedagogy in public policy education. The Program develops teaching cases which address pressing public policy issues in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The policy areas revolve mainly around four research clusters – science, technology and innovation policy; environmental policy and sustainability; social changes and policy; and China’s development policy.
