I am a PhD student in the Division of Public Policy at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where I also completed my MSc in Economics. My research sits at the intersection of urban economics and artificial intelligence, using vision-language models and satellite imagery to create urban measurements that conventional data cannot provide. Alongside this, I study how transport infrastructure reshapes land markets, labor markets, and the spatial distribution of housing wealth. I would be glad to hear from scholars working on similar questions.
