The core courses, mainly "Foundations in Public Policy" and "Research Methods in Public Policy" which is part of the PQE, are well-tailored to facilitate our research. The training we obtain from the eminent faculty handling these courses helps us with our studies. The faculty in the department offer us help in whatever way they can to facilitate our research. The students are also given the opportunity to assist the Professors in teaching the courses as “Teaching Assistants”, enabling them to master the techniques and work on their teaching skills.

The department also encourages students to consider courses from other departments, such as Engineering, Social Science and Mathematics, and interact with those faculty which helps them progress in their research.
The university has excellent facilities to do research and is not limited to access to the full range of research materials.
