On April 12, 2025, students from the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program at the Division of Public Policy (PPOL), HKUST, participated in a memorable excursion to Tap Mun Island. The trip offered a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen peer connections, engage informally with faculty members, and appreciate the natural beauty of Hong Kong’s northeastern waters.
Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a range of activities including hiking, exploring the island’s cultural heritage, sampling local cuisine, and engaging in relaxed conversation with fellow students and professors. The excursion not only fostered a stronger sense of community within the MPP cohort, but also provided a refreshing moment of reflection amid the rigorous academic semester.
We extend our sincere thanks to all who took part in this meaningful outing, and look forward to organizing more enriching extracurricular activities in the near future.
