Prof. ZHU Pengyu of the Division of Public Policy (PPOL) at HKUST has been awarded a substantial grant exceeding HK$850,000 from the Public Policy Research (PPR) Funding Scheme for 2025-26.

 

Prof. Zhu's project, "Enhancing the Implementation of 'One University, Two Campuses' and Mutual Recognition of Academic Qualifications: A Mixed-methods Study" (E2025.A7.039), focused on critical issues about academic collaboration and credential recognition. This research is poised to offer strategic insights into how Hong Kong can better integrate its higher education landscape, thereby bolstering its appeal as a global talent magnet.

 

Administered by the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit (CEPU), the PPR Funding Scheme is a prestigious initiative designed to commission robust, evidence-based research that directly informs and shapes public policy.
