Tokyo Institute of Technology: AEARU-Tokyo Tech Webinar on Collaboration in a Post-COVID-19 World

Acting Dean of Students and PPOL Professor, Prof. King CHOW, was one of the invited speakers of the webinar on “Cooperation and Collaboration among Research Universities in Asia in a Post-COVID-19 World” hosted by Tokyo Tech on November 27.  The webinar was part of activities organized under the Association of East Asian Research Universities (AEARU).

Our PPOL PhD student Mr Athar MANSOOR joined the Salzburg Global Seminars program in Austria on childhood obesity with scholarship and formed a working group with other participants to continue their research beyond the program.

Launch of Master of Public Management (MPM) program

Even before the Covid-19 outbreak, plans were taking shape for a new master of public management (MPM) program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). But the pandemic gave those preparations an extra sense of urgency, and everything is now ready to welcome a first intake of around 30 students starting in September 2021.
