These awards recognize academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to public service—ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of talent and ambition.
Admission Scholarship for Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program
Subject to funding availability, all applicants admitted to the MPP program are automatically considered for the Admission Scholarship, which may cover up to 50% of the tuition fee. The PPOL Postgraduate Committee conducts a holistic review of each candidate’s profile, including:
• Academic performance and undergraduate awards
• Internship and work experience
• Extracurricular involvement and leadership
• Faculty recommendations
• Interview performance and personal drive
• Potential to contribute to cohort diversity

Academic Excellence Scholarship
To celebrate top-performing students, the program offers an Academic Excellence Scholarship of HK$20,000 annually to the highest achievers in each cohort. To qualify, students must complete two consecutive regular terms within the same academic year and achieve a year-end CGA of 3.50 or above.
